Got Questions?
We've Got StreetSavvy Answers! |
 |
Your Question: Many of our employees (at all levels) find that working day to day with co-workers from various generations can be a challenge. And honestly, so do I. Do you have any wisdom to share on this topic?
StreetSavvy Answer:
Coping with generational differences is not a new issue. Do you understand or agree with everything your grandparents or parents say, believe and do? Probably not. This realization help solve the problem, but it does help put things in perspective.

Jackson Lewis Breakfast Series Seminar -
How to Navigate Difficult Leave Issues
We provide tips on working through the leave/reasonable accommodation maze. Among the topics are:
- When you can lawfully say enough is enough? Questioning the need for leave - how far can you go to detect and prevent employee fraud and abuse. Extended leave as a reasonable accommodation.
- Legislative/case law update on hot FMLA/ADA issues.
Guiding our participants through these new laws and regulations will be two highly experienced attorneys from the Dallas office of Jackson Lewis: Bill Davis and Kristin Bauer. We invite all attorneys, human resource professionals, company officers and business owners to attend. No one will want to miss this timely and very important program.
In addition, SHRM has approved our program for 2.0 Continuing Education credit hours towards PHR, SPHR and GPHR certification for the HR professionals that attend.
