Your Question: I've seen the studies and read the articles and books indicating that recognition is something all leaders should give their team members. And I agree, but we can't seem to get our leaders to comply at the level we'd like them to. Got any suggestions?

StreetSavvy Answer:
I'm convinced that recognition is the single most out-of-sync practice in organizations today. Too many organizations and leaders speak of the virtues of recognition but don't practice it. The cold hard truth is that there's typically no budget, minimal support, little time and virtually no accountability for recognition.
