Most people have at least a general idea of the continuing adventures of Harry Potter. Maybe you aren’t too familiar with the details, but you’re sure to realize there has been a continuing story for some years now.
Harry Potter books and movies have enjoyed some of the greatest successes in history. So what possible connection could exist between Harry Potter and you?
The answer is in the phrase “continuing adventures.” You don’t know what will happen to Harry, but you know he will go on...at least until he hits what we “muggles” call retirement.
And that is the connection. Our adventures go on and on even though they may not be as exciting as Harry’s. Our life is a journey. For some of us, one of fulfillment and wonder. And for others, life is a journey so dull that if turned into a book not even one copy would sell.
In a way we have it better than Harry. He is a player in a story that is controlled by the author. We, however, have the ability write our own story. A good book full of our own adventures has more personal worth than any one-book of the Harry Potter series.
